Now that Eventually Everything Connects—Loris Lora’s amazingly inspired history of Californian modernism—has landed in the US and redefined everyone’s expectations of concertina books, you might be wondering how we’re celebrating the release. Well, the secret is out: our friends at Gallery Nucleus will be presenting the original paintings by Loris that make up Nobrow’s newest hardcover leporello right in the heart of California!
Gallery Nucleus is set right in the heart of downtown Alhambra, where they’ve been a welcoming gathering place for the art loving community since 2004! The opening reception for the show, titled “California Modernists”, will take place this Saturday, February 21st, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Loris will be in attendance along with Chris Turnham. Chris, a Los Angeles based illustrator and printmaker, will be on hand to celebrate the launch of his latest modernist-inspired silk screens. You’ll be able to check out their work up until March 1st, so don’t delay! You can find our more information about Gallery Nucleus at their website, and you can grab a copy of Eventually Everything Connects now!
